Open your Jewellery Box

The last trade gem and mineral show was Tuscon in February just 3 weeks ago and look how much has changed in 3 weeks as coronavirus really grabs hold - 80% of economic activity across the world has ground to a halt including the gem and jewellery trade.

So normally we are all focussed on what is the new trend, design, colour, let us do something different, get yourself a cup of tea, a glass of wine, sit and open your jewellery box....

Just take a breath and just see what you have in your box...

now it could be that you have a whole box full of jewels......

or maybe

just a single piece...

Which ever one, if you have a whole collection, when was the last time you opened this treasure chest? Is there a piece which is very special to you or in just looking are you saying hello to a piece you forgot you had?

Enjoy your cup of tea or that glass of wine and your jewels...

If you are looking at a single piece, wow, what story does it have to tell, when, why and where and who did you get this piece and how does it feel? Is it a happy or sad feel? Perhaps your piece has diamonds, or maybe a citrine, an amethyst, a ruby...are the stones sparkling like dew on the early morning grass or perhaps its a rainbow of colours...
