Lockdown moves on...I found yoga on Zoom

A good 5 weeks into the lockdown and a new "normal" is emerging in my household. The latest good weather has brought with it time in the garden, cooking and playing the games that are still unopened since Christmas.
The days have given me time to play and learn with the kids in a way that I didn’t know was missing, I thought I knew the kids inside out but actually I now and then see inside their nature, their sense of what is sad, happy, thoughtful, what amazes them, what disturbs them and when the mischief is just about to kick off! I will keep this going post lockdown.
I have had some time to myself too whilst the kids have been doing their own thing, AND I tried the new way of doing yoga - Yoga on Zoom and its been brilliant.
I have managed to get out for a walk most days and try to keep to the same loop which includes steep hills and good variety of sun and shade, different terrains. This is a good start to my walking. I am REALLY enjoying seeing sights and scenery that probably in the past I rushed by never giving them the time of day.
The timetable I had put together has been "flexible" but I think next week need to start reading, writing and maths again using the work provided by school! I will also be working full time from home so quite a balance to be achieved.
There are lots of amazing benefits to the lockdown for us, mainly time together and time to explore. Lockdown is doing nature good. We have been seeing lots of butterflies and birds, the skies are clear and buds are blooming. It is a blessing to see growth daily and to know that the spring is well underway.
We are looking forwards to it being over and seeing family and friends again but are determined to enjoy what we can and make the most of the unexpected time we have together.
