Desk Accessories for Men and Women -Crystals

Working in offices and the "office culture" is a modern phenomenon and amazingly this is undertaken by a large proportion of the world's population. The office desk and chair is the basic equipment and added to this will be pens pencils, rulers, typewriters, ink-well, calculator, stapler and so on depending on the job you do.

So, it is a very dry and functional space devoid of any personality or character, especially in the days when most of the workers were of the male variety. Its in the early 20th century that women started to enter the office world and the space started changing. Kids, photos, little dishes for nic nacks, tubs and tins to hold pens and pencils, all manner of "decor" items made their way onto the desk in addition to the basic functional equipment.

Regardless of whether you work from home permanently or have a dedicated office at work, the human need to surround yourself with personality and character means it is very important to have "personalised" the desk space. Indeed it is now accepted that when people in work are given space where they feel they are at home from home, the quality of work and output is so much higher. But what are these accessories that are added to the desk?
