Annie has been teaching yoga for University College Isle of Man and she has been lead teacher at yoga seminars and has led a number of retreats.
In Annie's own words:
"Yoga has become part of my life and my practice has helped me to become more flexible in body and mind.
I discovered yoga in my late teens, and dipped in and out over the next few decades. My job took me to the IOM where I found a lovely teacher and attended classes on a regular basis. As time moved on Yoga became a welcome release from the corporate world! The more I discovered about yoga the more I wanted to learn and when it was suggested I should consider training to be a yoga teacher, the seed was sown!
It is often said that you don't come to yoga; yoga comes to you, so the next time you have that thought take your first step and 'try it out'. Yoga is a practice that can be achieved by anyone - you don't have to be flexible and young to do yoga!"
